Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate company, has promoted Sandro Innocenti as senior vice president regional head Southern Europe. Innocenti, who previously lead the company’s business in Italy, will have responsibility for all business activities in Italy, France and Spain.

In this new role, he will lead real estate operations, customer experience and capital deployment teams, supporting their work to deliver exceptional service and drive innovation to benefit Prologis customers. He will report to Ben Bannatyne, president of Prologis Europe.

“Sandro brings a strategic vision and a proven track record of success - especially in the deployment of capital - that will be key to continuing to invest in and develop our portfolio in the region,” said Bannatyne. “In particular, his ability to unite key industry stakeholders, including as chairman of the Logistics Real Estate Committee in Italy, will be vital as we continue to drive growth all of Europe.”

Since joining the company in 2014 as vice president and country manager for Italy, Innocenti has been a driving force behind expanding Prologis’ portfolio and strengthening its presence in the region. Before Prologis, he was development manager with Vailog.

Earlier in his career, Innocenti held various corporate operations roles with major brands, such as 3M and Imation Europe. Bringing more than three decades of business experience to his new role, Innocenti is a seasoned leader who enjoys launching and building businesses.  He currently serves as chairman of an national industry trade group, Logistics Real Estate Committee, in Italy.
