Bologna (21 January 2019) Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced the acquisition of a 360,000 square meter land plot in Piacenza, Italy. The land, already approved for development, will be used to expand Prologis’ Piacenza logistics park. Prologis has been at Piacenza since 2001 and currently operates 85,000 square meters of logistics space.

“This acquisition will increase the future availability of modern, technologically advanced and integrated logistics facilities at this strategic location that serves the Milan metropolitan area," said Sandro Innocenti, senior vice president, country manager, Prologis Italy.
